A long-stay work visa has been introduced for those who enter France for professional reasons and wish to stay for a long period of time, from 3 months to 1 year. Each has specific requirements and eligibility criteria that must be met correctly in order to obtain a long-stay work visa.

French Work-permit Requirements

Take care to gather the documents under the rules in your home country because the requirements may vary from country to country, though the variations should not be substantial. You must provide the following documents when applying for a work visa in France

• Visa application: You have to complete your application for a work visa in France. Please ensure that it is accurate and truthful when filling out the form.
• A pair of biometric images similar and shot within the previous three months following the Schengen photo requirements.
• Valid passport for three more months after the day you intend to depart Spain. Attach the visa sticker to it, it must also have at least one blank page.
• Proof of Sufficient Funds: You must have your Bank statement with sufficient funds and payment slips to confirm that you can maintain your residency in the country.
• Proof of paid French work visa fee
• A criminal history certificate demonstrating your lack of involvement in any active criminal cases
• Evidence of your professional credentials for the employment in France that has been offered to you.
• Work agreement: A written agreement between you and your employee outlining the terms of your employment, including your monthly salary.
• Medical Certificate: A declaration made in writing by a medical professional with legal standing that you are free from sickness or that you could seriously harm public health.
