Spanish Tourist Visa Requirement
The following documents must be submitted in order to apply for a tourist visa to Spain
• Valid passport for three more months after the day you intend to depart Spain. Attach the visa sticker to it, it must also have at least one blank page. • Flight reservation: The dates on which you intend to enter Spain and depart must be supported by documentation. A flight reservation with your name, your arrival and departure times, and your locations serves as this proof. • Proof of Sufficient Funds: You must have your Bank statement with sufficient funds and payment slips to confirm that you can maintain your residency in the country. • A sponsor letter if you let someone else pay for your vacation. A bank statement must be submitted with the letter. • Renting arrangement: If you plan to rent a place during your visit to Spain, you need to show the property owner the rental contract. The area of the property you are renting, the owner’s information, and the address must all be stated in the contract. • A pair of biometric images similar and shot within the previous three months following the Schengen photo requirements. • Duplicate passport page(s): Additionally, you must make copies of all information-containing pages in your passport, including the two main pages with your information and any pages with visa stickers or stamps. • Medical travel insurance: It must provide coverage for the entire area of Spain as well as all other Schengen countries. It must also cover any incident or unexpected illness with a minimum of 30,000 euros. Even if you only want to stay for two days, it must be scheduled for at least seven days. • Proof of civil status (marriage certificate, child’s birth certificate, spouse’s death certificate, ration card if applicable). • Evidence of accommodation in Spain: Hotel reservations, invitation letters, or address books are all acceptable forms of identification to show that you have made accommodations for a vacation to Spain.
